勞資雙方再度為基本工資問題爭議不休，總統馬英九今（26）日以黨主席身份主持國民黨中山會報時表示，此時檢討基本工資是「苦民所苦」很適切的決定，經濟成長的果實，並非只屬於企業，必須與勞工分享，至於漲幅多少，政府部門應加強相互間的整合協調，才能達到互惠雙贏的結果。

馬英九表示，今年以來台灣的經濟成長穩定，賦稅收入超過預期，外銷訂單持續增加，景氣燈號可望連續6個綠燈，顯示政府全力拚經濟已有相當不錯成績。然而不可避免的，消費者物價指數也會同步成長，雖然政府控制得宜，整體物價指數上漲未達3%，但食品與衣物類的民生物價指數漲幅卻超過4.6%，這會讓勞工朋友與低收入民眾，直接感受到物價上漲的衝擊。

馬英九指出，近日行政院長江宜樺表示願在此時檢討基本工資，是「苦民所苦」很適切的決定，畢竟經濟成長的果實，並非只屬於企業，必須與勞工分享。

至於工資應該要漲多少，馬英九認為，這是個兩難的問題，如果漲太少，勞工沒有感覺；一下漲太多，可能帶動百物通漲，反而害到勞工。因此勞資雙方在討論基本工資時，應該重視共識的形成。政府部門也應加強相互間的整合協調，才能達到互惠雙贏的結果。
