性別團體：變性免摘性器官是重視人權

【生活中心／台北報導】針對衛福部今開會討論性別變更登記認定要件，衛福部最後決議，性別變更登記不需醫療認定要件，配套措施由內政部邀有關部門、民間團體、專家學者再討論。台灣性別不明關懷協會今晚發聲明表示，感謝做出如此開明、重視性別人權、符合兩公約精神的決議。
 
該協會創辦人吳芷儀說，民間相關團體將持續就此議題與內政部等有關單位，共同就「法定性別變更登記」研擬相關配套，督促其進度與施行。協會指出，雖未立即取消變更法定性別登記的強制器官摘除手術和精神評估規定，但已是性別人權史上的一大步。
