ＡＩＴ主席薄瑞光訪台

外交部今天發布新聞稿表示，美國在台協會（ＡＩＴ）主席薄瑞光（Raymond Burghardt）於12月8日至12日訪台，就台美間各項議題與我政府高層交換意見。

這也是薄瑞光第15次訪問台灣，此行重點是訪視ＡＩＴ高雄分處，並拜會南台灣的政府官員。

薄瑞光於1999年至2001年擔任ＡＩＴ台北辦事處處長，也曾派駐越南、馬來西亞、韓國及中國大陸的上海，為美國資深外交官。外交部表示，薄瑞光對台灣甚為友好，持續提供諸多支持及協助，中華民國政府對此誠摯感謝。
