高雄市政府消防局昨（31）日晚間8時46分獲報前鎮區凱旋三路與二聖路交岔口大範圍疑似瓦斯外洩，深夜11時59分起發生多起爆炸火災，截至今日6時，計20人死亡（含警義消4人）、270人受傷。內政部長陳威仁、經濟部長張家祝、行政院長江宜樺已先後進駐中央災害應變中心。

高雄市立即於今日0時40分成立災害應變中心，由陳菊市長擔任指揮官，並於五權國小開設前進指揮所，由消防局陳局長虹龍指揮，另開設8處災民收容場所，安置1152人；中央災害應變中心於1時開設，陳威仁即刻進駐，張家祝於1時45分進駐，主導中央災害應變中心運作，江宜樺並於2時15分進駐中央災害應變中心。

內政部消防署表示，影響範圍約2至3平方公里（凱旋三路、二聖路、瑞隆路、三多一路、崗山南路一帶）。

截至今日6時，計20人死亡（含警義消4人）、270人受傷（含警義消22人、環保署緊急應變隊員5人）、尚餘1處（凱旋三路及二聖路口）直徑約10公尺火勢，由消防局現場警戒，但目前無法確定洩漏原因。
