IEK：半導體需切入操作系統 才有高獲利

外界看好物聯網(IoT)將是繼智慧手持裝置後的未來明星產業，工研院產經中心(IEK)電子與系統研究組計畫副組長楊瑞臨今天表示，台灣半導體產業需要切入到操作系統(Operating System)部分，才能有更高獲利。

楊瑞臨說，國際研究暨顧問機構Gartner的預估，至2020年時，全球物聯網的相關營收可達3280億美元，但扣除巨量資料、客戶分析、電腦計算、儲存與通訊等之後，最下段的硬體設備如電源供應與訊息傳輸設備等，這部分營收約310億美元，約僅佔整體物聯網營收的10分之1左右，這是國內業者得正視且加以因應的課題。
