美國、伊朗資深官員 將舉行核子諮商

美國國務院7日表示，美國與伊朗資深外交官員將於9日起在日內瓦舉行核子計畫會談，顯然是為了打破核子談判的僵局，為6月16日開始的伊朗與「六強」核子會談鋪路。

美國代表團由副國務卿伯恩斯領軍；他之前曾與伊朗進行秘密談判，終於促成伊朗與「六強」在去年11月24日時達成核子計畫臨時協議。代表成員還包括國務次卿薛曼。

伊朗方面由外交部次長阿拉奇領軍。美國願意單獨與伊朗進行高階層外交會談，顯示美國願意設法打破僵局。

美國官員說：「我們始終表示，只要能夠使我們的努力獲得進展，我們願意與伊朗進行雙邊交往。」官員並指出，這次會面不是談判，而只是在下一回合的日內瓦談判之前先進行諮商。」
