台北市舉辦2017世大運，北市府為發揮地主優勢，開出將挑對我國有利的8項自選項目，來增加奪牌數。不過北市副市長丁庭宇等人3月赴比利時報告世大運籌辦進度時，被FISU打了回票，FISU目前僅同意我國自選項目增至5項，此恐衝擊教育部原訂下擠進世界前三強的目標。

北市府發言人張其強說，市長郝龍斌等人下月初參加俄羅斯喀山世大運時，會當面和FISU執委會長GALLIEN等人討論自選競賽項目，希望再增加自選項目，增加我國奪牌數量。

衛生局今天表示，持續稽查8大類小吃，共計查核608家，其中470家都依規定提供檢驗證明，79家則提供切結書，將給予期限改善，59家則兩項都未提供，將再進行複查直到提供證明為止，而且依照衛生署的規定，都未提供的業者可以由衛生局自行抽驗澱粉來源。
