墾丁珊瑚產卵明　估今明大爆發

墾丁珊瑚每年總在媽祖生日（農曆3月23日）期間產卵，珊瑚學會常務理事蔡永春昨晚在出水口潛水下海發現已有7種珊瑚出現釋卵現象，3種表孔珊瑚、2種菊珊瑚、1種微孔珊瑚及第一次紀錄到釋卵的雙星珊瑚紀錄，迫不及待散出五顏六色的珊瑚卵，讓調查人員相當興奮。
 
蔡永春說，昨晚海水溫度約25度，出水口珊瑚種類約200種，目前記錄到的7種種類只是零星現象，預估在今明兩天會進入高峰期。
 
墾管處保育研究課長馬協羣說，珊瑚在26度水溫以上，才是適合產卵的溫度，前陣子氣溫偏低，預估今年大爆發時間會落在明天左右。（李卉婷／屏東報導）
