國際機場盛會三一論壇今開幕

代表機場、免稅店業者、品牌業者三足鼎立的「2014國際三一論壇」，今在台北君悅酒店展開，交通部長葉匡時盛讚，三一論壇是國際重要會議，每年在不同機場舉辦，這次由桃園機場承辦，300多名國際高端專業人士來台，其中7成沒來過台灣，對台灣整體商務、觀光旅遊發展有重要意義。

　葉匡時致詞時表示，桃園國際機場2013年旅客量突破3千萬人次大關，根據聯合國世界觀光組織統計，去年國際來台旅客成長率為9.6％，高居全球第10名，桃機今年1至8月成長率11％傲視亞洲，有阿聯酋等7家航空公司及首家本土廉航「台灣虎航」加入營運，發展非常快速。

　葉匡時說，今年桃園機場旅客量可望增加到3200萬人次，逼近容量上限，已開始擴建第2航廈，1年半後完工，再增500萬人次容納量，第3航廈今年底開國際標敲定廠商，明年發包設計、6年後完成，整體容納量可達4700萬人次，桃園航空城計畫也正在推動中。
