上海書展今天開幕，首日參加的大陸民眾多，到下午才稍減。因應人潮，上海書展開設2個安檢站，場內有公安與警犬執勤。

2014上海書展暨「書香中國」上海周於13日至19日在上海展覽中心舉行。上海書展主辦單位表示，這屆書展展覽面積約2.3萬平方公尺，參展出版單位500多家，超過15萬種圖書參展，隨書展舉辦的各種簽書會、互動活動約600場。

因應人潮，主辦單位說，今年書展的安檢全面升級，將比過去幾屆更嚴密。

此外，這屆上海書展與地方組織委員會聯合17個區縣，共同舉辦「書香上海悅讀季」系列活動，協調各區縣全上海市17個區縣圖書館、社區文化服務中心、農家書屋等，展開各類閱讀、文化活動。

大陸出版界每年有北京書展與上海書展兩大盛事。但北京書展重在圖書版權交易，雖然賣書，但最多是版權商務活動，負責參展的也是版權部門的負責人；上海書展的定位則在一般讀者，以推廣閱讀為主。

這屆上海書展展售圖書取向為一般大眾，教育類類圖書相當多，此外，由於今年適逢甲午戰爭120週年，在上海書展上，相關甲午戰爭的書籍都被擺在顯眼位置宣傳。(中央社)
