正逢農曆七月，有關鬼景點議題也被討論，入口網站蕃薯藤於7月底舉行「2014十大恐怖鬼景點」票選，吸引網友投出近4萬張選票，選出自己心中最可怕的恐怖景點，最後由台北至宜蘭間的北宜公路奪冠，第2、3名則分別為台中衛爾康西餐廳，以及台北辛亥隧道。

蕃薯藤表示，票選時間為7月11日至7月25日，為期兩周，約有近4萬人次投票，選出全台十大最恐怖卻又超熱門的「鬼景點」，創造話題或提供給民眾探險參考。

第4至第10名則依序為桃園大園空難地址、南投日月潭伊達邵碼頭附近水域、台南杏林醫院、台北文化大學「大仁館」、嘉義民雄劉家古厝、台北西寧國宅、基隆鬼屋(美琪酒吧)。（蔡惠如／台北報導）
