【動新聞】3樓加蓋成9樓　竹科4千戶違建

【突發中心╱調查報導】創造台灣經濟奇蹟的新竹科學園區 ，工程師竟住在「違建城」！《蘋果》調查，緊鄰竹科的竹市金山街，竟有250棟、4000多戶違建套房，佔全市一半，最誇張的是原本3層樓的透天厝，竟一口氣增建到9樓。這些套房大多數沒有消防安全設備，一旦發生火警，蝸居在此的工程師恐陷險境。

諷刺的是，過去3年，金山街每年被舉報3、40件違建，新竹市府共只拆了9件，250棟至少要81年才能拆完。對此，學者痛批：「市府態度消極。」
