連續客場之旅第一戰被老鷹啄傷，火箭今天（11日）暴露的缺點若未改善，明天輪到被巫師戲耍也不無可能。

老鷹在缺少Al Horford的情況下，本預料Dwight Howard能在禁區有所發揮，雖繳出15分、11籃板，但過早陷入犯規麻煩，關鍵時刻發揮有限。

而火箭見長的三分球優勢，在少了Chandler Parsons的情況下，其他人包括林書豪在內，也無法有所貢獻，全隊19投6中，而投籃命中率41.2%也有提升的空間。

林書豪對老鷹拿下11分，只有1次助攻，送球不是被對手毀掉，就是隊友發生失誤，而他也屢次被堵到進攻路線，且有兩節沒有得分，另得分低迷的不只他一人。

火箭另一個狀況就是，老鷹命中率同樣不高，可是火箭防守鬆散，導致領先無法擴大，最後被追平、進而超前，進攻也同樣有狀況，末節發生球傳出去無人接應直接出界的狀況。

巫師也吞敗仗，台北時間12日早上8點對火箭的比賽，勢必會極力抓火箭出氣，若火箭防守再持續鬆散，加上他們禁區也有人力輪流對付魔獸，只靠James Harden一人恐難獲勝。
