英國《每日郵報》以有『沒有搞錯？驢友踩著七百年前修的木頭棧道徒步攀登幾千英尺高的大陸山脈？』為題報道華山崖壁棧道，文章部分內容如下。


在大陸陝西華山有一道絕壁上的棧道，旁邊就是萬丈懸崖，但是就是有很多遊客毫不畏懼地前來體驗。


但很幸運的是，這些遊客在遊覽之前都會被要求佩戴專用的安全繩索


這條懸崖小道的正式名稱是『長空棧道』，修建於700多年前，當時的人們為了尋找他們認為生活在深山之中的神仙，而修建了這條棧道。


這條棧道寬度僅有大約30公分，修建在幾乎完全是垂直的崖壁上，真正是『一失足成千古恨』。


自古華山一條路。
