　　SQUARE ENIX 出品，KOEI TECMO Games《無雙》團隊 ω-Force 主 導開發，將於 2015 年春季推出的動作 RPG 新作《勇者鬥惡龍 HEROES：闇龍與世界樹之城》（ドラゴンクエストヒーローズ 闇竜と世界樹の城），公佈最新遊戲畫面及「PlayStation 4 勇者鬥惡龍 金屬史萊姆版」」（PlayStation 4 ドラゴンクエスト メタルスライム エディション）圖像，除了史萊姆主題主機外，可安裝在 PS4 主機 USB 端子上的「迷路史萊姆」（はぐれメタル）同梱公仔更是引人注目，以經典液態金屬造型覆蓋在 PS4 主機上，將為玩家帶來另類遊戲樂趣。

　　本作為日本國民 RPG 《勇者鬥惡龍》系列最新作，帶來類無雙風格的動作性，強調橫掃千軍的大場面與激烈戰鬥招式，同時集結了歷代多名主角，玩家可扮演親衛隊長亞克特、女劍士梅雅、戰王迪爾克、魔法大發明家茱莉葉塔等角色與魔物大軍展開激烈交鋒。
