高雄市前鎮區發生氣爆，炸翻路面，國軍部隊投入救災，在災情嚴重的三多路和凱旋路段，許多官兵拿圓鍬努力開挖、搬運石頭，帶隊官以手電筒照炸開路面，搜尋有無被埋土堆民眾。

根據消防署凌晨統計，前鎮區氣爆影響範圍約2至3平方公里，包括凱旋三路、二聖路、瑞隆路、三多一路、崗山南路一帶。

「還有人嗎？」，帶隊官以手電筒照炸開路面，不時高喊著，企圖搜尋有無被埋在土堆的民眾。憲兵也出動協助維持災難現場秩序。

在三多路災難現場，滿目瘡痍，車輛都被爆炸威力震翻，國際商工便道前還有一輛汽車被炸得扭曲變形，駕駛的男子被卡在後座，警消與民眾合力救出男性駕駛。

警民合力救災救難，但現場氣氛凝重，有人難過感歎已經盡量救了，但整條路這樣，怎麼救。

熱心民眾還拍打車窗繼續搜尋是否有人受困。在三多路、福德路口，有民眾尋獲罹難者遺體，警方與民眾將遺體抬上擔架，運往安置處所。(中央社)
