台南市政府今晚發表聲明指出，總統馬英九昨天稱台南市長賴清德在立委任內反對兩岸直航的根據何在？應請馬總統說明。

市府聲明指出，馬總統昨天到台南出席中國國民黨固本會報時表示，賴清德在擔任立委任內，宣稱兩岸若開放直航，根本是木馬屠城記；並在會中批評賴清德及市政建設，沒有根據且有失厚道。

市府指出，兩岸直航是在民主進步黨執政時開始規劃；賴清德當時為執政黨立法委員並擔任黨團幹事長，不但支持更協助推動；民進黨一向主張兩岸應溝通交流，若沒有先前的規劃與準備作業，馬總統在2008年就任後，怎麼可能在短短幾個月就啟動兩岸直航。
