本報訊

副總統吳敦義今天返鄉走訪竹山鎮下坪社區，拜訪鄉親，並參加草屯鎮敦和宮主委李應欽的公祭，悼念故友。

吳副總統於南投家鄉的行程主要在竹山地區，除了參訪竹山郊區下坪里下坪社區，也到附近的德山寺、三界公廟參拜，中午預定參加竹山救國團委員會會長的交接典禮。

在走訪竹山前，吳副總統先抵草屯參加李應欽的公祭，上香悼祭故友，並向家屬致哀。李應欽生前熱心公益，日前因病辭世，讓地方相當不捨。(中央社)
